Riviera Maya's Grupo Nohoch Mul

Houston-based attorney Frank Mann has over three decades of experience focusing on family law. Throughout his career as an attorney, he has represented clients in a variety of cases involving divorce, child custody, and child support. During his free time, Frank Mann enjoys traveling the world and has visited destinations such as Riviera Maya.

Located in Mexico, Riviera Maya is a tourism district famous for its large-scale resorts. As a popular tourist destination, the area has recently been the focus of numerous developments, but the main attractions continue to be its breathtaking natural sceneries and its historical structures. One of the top sights in Riviera Maya is Grupo Nohoch Mul.

Although its name literally translates to "Big Mound," Grupo Nohoch Mul is more popularly known as the Great Pyramid – a more accurate description of what it is. With a towering height of 42 meters, the archaeological site stands as the second tallest Mayan structure in the Yucatán Peninsula. Although climbing the ancient steps might be a challenging task, reaching the top has its reward: a panoramic view of flat scrubby forests spanning many kilometers.
